The certification process for the third quality seal for hospitals was carried out in 2019. As a substitute for the formal certificate presentation ceremony that was canceled in May 2020, an online event was held for all 85 participating institutions ( 50-minute video message on YouTube, press release dated September 15, 2020 , announcement in the newsroom of the University Hospital Bonn ). The certificates were sent by mail beforehand, ensuring they were available in time for the event.
The new certification concept aims for sustainability through annual audits of two quality objectives and an annual cross-sectoral focus topic of the MRE network. All documents created for hospitals within the framework of the 3rd quality seal are available on this page (see below).
The important documents are:
MRE transfer form 2018 (The patient transfer form 2013 is still valid):
- Transfer form (for electronic completion).docx (2018)
- Transfer form for printing.docx (2018)
- Transfer form for printing.pdf (2018)
- Transition sheet contents drop-down menu (for programmers).pdf (2018)
Creation aids:
- Recommendations for dealing with PVL (Panton-Valentine leukocidin)-positive Staphylococcus aureus , developed by an interdisciplinary working group of the University Hospital Bonn (2019)
- Donning and doffing of personal protective equipment (3/2020) and instructions for deep throat swab (5/2020), training materials for care facilities.
- Guidelines for rational anti-infective therapy in inpatient settings .pdf, LZG.NRW (State Center for Health, 2019)
Patient information on the responsible use of antibiotics:
The third quality seal of the MRE network Regio Rhein-Ahr described here is compatible with the third quality seal offered by the State Center for Health (LZG.NRW) since the end of 2018 ( LZG.NRW quality seal of the State Health Office of North Rhine-Westphalia in cooperation with MRE networks without their own quality seal). In the nine districts of the MRE network, the network seal replaces the seal offered by the LZG.NRW, as also agreed upon with the heads of the public health departments.
